The last time I played Crimson Desert, I played it as a kind of boss rush. Three bosses, alike in dignity, all of whom went down. Lex Luddy already covered that demo here at Shacknews, and while I liked it more than she did (I’m a sicko; please give me mechanics to play with), she was right when she said it wasn’t the best representation of what Crimson Desert would actually be. Sometimes, you play a game that feels like it was made just for you. Like someone just reached into the depths of your mind, plucked out this beautiful thing you didn’t know you wanted, and made it real. That’s how I felt when I got my first look at Bounty Star, and when I sat down to play it at Summer Games Fest, it didn’t disappoint. See, I grew up in the Old South.
