But Minnesota has given themselves the chance to get a favorable path in the postseason.

For the Timberwolves to finish 6th and avoid the play-in, they still need the Warriors to lose to the Clippers in Game 82. Holding a 3-1 advantage in head-to-head this season. Golden State has the tiebreaker over Minnesota.
