NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and team owners are signaling that an 18-game regular season could be coming soon. Goodell said at the league's annual meeting they are continuing to discuss it, while Cowboys owner Jerry Jones even said it is "certainly" in the league's future.

The original proposal was for 15 minutes, but the league was concerned longer OTs could bleed into the next window of games. So they’re keeping it at 10.

Now that I'm officially back in NC, I'm trying to get out to some spring practices. HS coaches, DM me if you'd be gracious enough to have me. Obviously, I can't get everywhere, but would love to check out some teams in April/May.

FWIW, I have Egbuka as WR1 in this class and have a sneaking suspicion he's going to fall to a contender like Washington or Detroit.

Egbuka made an important block on nearly every big Ohio St run last year. If your team has issues running the ball and choose to pass on him, that is on you

With the wording here, (any push being illegal) theoretically, do we assess a penalty on the offense any time a RB runs into the back of his OL? Obviously not, but the wording is so bad.

@YoungGunsBB Based on the proposal, I do not think they should ban it. It would set a dangerous precedent that would set everyone on a slippery slope moving forward. I think it was a huge mistake to make it about one play rather than a general rule on pushing teammates. They worded it

There’s a ton of volatility in basketball. That’s why upsets exist. It all comes down to making shots. Lower seeds didn’t do that often this year.

It’s popular to claim the lack of upsets this year is because of NIL, but it seems to me the main reason there haven’t been many this year is none of the MM teams made threes. 10 12-16 seeds played Friday. Only one shot over 30% from three: Colorado State, the lone winner.

For the life of me I’ll never understand why a team that struggles to hit hates being patient at the plate/wants to keep swinging at first pitches, but I’m not a baseball coach, so🤷🏻‍♂️
