A travel influencer was forced by police to act as “bait” when her British stalker flew to her home in Bali and threatened to kidnap her, a court has been told. Alexandra Saper, 33, a former American lawyer who earns a living posting photographs and videos of herself travelling, said she had to flee the Indonesian island to escape from Rob Keating, 39.

A travel influencer was forced to flee Bali after her alleged British stalker threatened to kidnap her and arrived on the island with a suitcase carrying black rope, a court has been told. Alexandra Saper, 33, an American former lawyer, said Rob Keating, 39, had harassed her online for almost a year before he flew out to find her. Keating, a traffic worker living in his sister’s garage in Havant, Hampshire, allegedly sent “incessant and constant” emails and video messages to Saper.

Robert Shaw will return to Guernsey next week to lead a cavalcade of 120 military vehicles around the island on May 9 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day for the Channel Islands. The island of Jersey also gained its freedom that day. Alderney, Sark and Herm were liberated in the following days. The Princess Royal will visit Guernsey on May 9 and Sark on May 10 to mark their liberation anniversaries.
