BG3 patch 8 is a fitting finale for one of the best role-playing games ever made. After nearly two years of gargantuan player counts, myriad game of the year awards, and over 650,000 positive Steam user reviews, Larian’s opus is coming to an end. Erenshor certainly looks like a classic MMORPG, with hundreds of ‘players’ questing and battling alongside you, but they’re not real people. Instead, this is a single-player game made to emulate the joys of ’90s MMOs, and it’s out now.
