Space Marine 2‘s latest update is the perfect time to step into the gigantic, curb-stomping shoes of an Astartes. There’s a brand new co-op mission, the menacing Tyranid boss, Trygon, and more ways than ever to suit up and take on the hordes. Saber Interactive has been expanding SM2 for some time now, and update 7 is the latest in a long line of phenomenal overhauls taking it from strength to strength. The headliner in Space Marine 2’s Trygon update is easily the titular Tyranid.

It takes the style of Old School Runescape and the lived-in feeling of World of Warcraft, but flips these persistent virtual lands completely on their heads. Erenshor certainly looks like a classic MMORPG, with hundreds of ‘players’ questing and battling alongside you, but they’re not real people. Instead, this is a single-player game made to emulate the joys of ’90s MMOs, and it’s out now.
