Ever since Square Enix announced Final Fantasy 14 Mobile, I've been hungrily waiting for the chance to try it. It's the MMORPG that made me fall in love with the entire genre, so the prospect of playing it on the go is something I can wholeheartedly get behind. The bad news is FF14 Mobile is coming to China first, with the Western release on the way soon after. The good news, though, is that it finally launched in China, meaning we hopefully don't have long to wait.

If you've got a Baldur's Gate 3 shaped hole in your heart, Sunderfolk is here to fill it. A new fantasy RPG from former Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime's Dreamhaven, it embraces approachability in a way I really appreciate. Sunderfolk has been out for a little while now, but don't worry if you're yet to try it. The game has a free trial available on Steam right now, and it's the ideal game night activity. Sunderfolk plays a little differently than the best RPGs on PC.

If you want to lose countless hours to a survival game, you're spoilt for choice these days. Rust continues to dominate on Steam. Subnautica remains a genre classic. Minecraft has just overhauled its visuals after more than a decade. For my money, though, V Rising remains the quintessential choice. With the Invaders of Oakveil update finally launching earlier this year, the vampire-focused game has become the experience I'd always dreamed of.

FBC Firebreak marks quite the departure for Remedy Entertainment. The studio is renowned for its story-driven single player experiences, including the likes of Alan Wake, Control, and Max Payne. Firebreak, on the other hand, is a co-op FPS in the vein of Left 4 Dead and Helldivers 2. It's set in the Control universe, sure, but it's about as far from Jesse Faden's adventure you could get. Now that Firebreak is here, however, it hasn't been going down well on Steam.

Today marks not one, but two huge moments for Minecraft. Firstly, the newest update, Chase the Skies, is here, offering more ways to traverse your worlds with relative ease. Secondly, and in my eyes more importantly, is the arrival of Vibrant Visuals. Starting now, your servers can look better than they ever have in Minecraft, with an array of graphical enhancements that don't impede on the visual style, a decade after launch.
