Students for Justice in Palestine hosted its first rally of the school year on Thursday, Sept. 12 in front of the Lincoln Park Student Center. The rally, which featured a press conference then march, continued their calls for DePaul’s divestment from Israel. During the press conference, former contracted security officer for DePaul Terrence Freeman spoke about his removal from his position at DePaul.

Investors remain concerned and cautious as we head into 2024, following more than a year of negative returns and a dearth of liquidity. While visibility on economic growth and interest rates may be improving, a fog still envelops price discovery. The confusing picture on pricing is caused chiefly by a dislocation in the expectations of buyers and sellers. In a number of markets, the fall in valuation index markers has been greater than for price indices, further blurring price discovery.

I tried to breathe more slowly and deeply, instantly misting my helmet visor. First retinal burn, now fog. Not good.

In the near future, a crew trying to clean up the man-made waste that plagues the ocean’s depths becomes trapped deep underwater after their recycling facility loses power and the replacement crew crashes into them. Whilst stranded in the deepest part of the ocean awaiting rescue, the team grows paranoid as they begin to believe they are being slowly hunted by creatures and ghosts that lurk in the dark.
