Currumbin Valley Brewing have shut their doors after the founders were unable to find a buyer for the Gold Coast brewery. Co-founder Peter "Smokey" Wheldon told The Crafty Pint they’d been working with business brokers for some time, and while a last-minute sale was a possibility last week, it ultimately fell through. It means what was initially a temporary closure of the brewery taproom is now permanent, with Smokey saying they weren't able to keep trading.
