KYIV: Ukraine is intensifying efforts to scale up domestic drone production, with a target of manufacturing a few million more units each year as part of a push to build a self-sustaining defence industry. Kyiv has relied on allies for military aid since Moscow’s full-scale invasion, but it hopes to eventually export drone technology, which could fit in with Europe's plans to boost its own defences. Last year, Ukrainian officials said the country made more than 2 million drones.
