Willie Peters is delighted with the job Noah Booth is already doing at Hull KR but insists he will be better after a pre-season with the club. Booth was snapped up by Rovers in January from Wakefield Trinity before the youngster was sent out on loan to Championship side Hunslet. He made eight appearances for Hunslet, scoring six tries, before being recalled by the Robins to step into Peters’ first-team plans.

Salford Red Devils have now used a staggering 53 players this season with four more making their debuts for the club on Sunday. Paul Rowley’s side were beaten on home soil by Hull FC in round 15, with the Black and Whites winning 38-6 at the Salford Community Stadium. The result didn’t tell the full story of the contest, though, with Salford turning in one of their best first half showings of the season before falling away after the break.

It’s fair to say round 15 of Super League was enthralling, with plenty of talking points emerging from the six games played. Hull KR were clearly the biggest victors of the round as they moved four points clear at the top with a win over Castleford Tigers. Wigan Warriors have it all to do now in the race for the League Leaders’ Shield after they lost to Wakefield Trinity, while Leigh Leopards now sit third just three points behind them after beating Catalans Dragons.

Round 15 of Super League is in the history books and we have plenty to reflect on. Hull KR were the big winners of the weekend as they moved four points clear at the top of the league ladder. The Robins thumped Castleford Tigers 48-0 on Thursday night and watched on as Wigan Warriors slipped up at Wakefield Trinity, with Daryl Powell’s side winning 16-10.
