    Jakarta: The government has determined that 1 Ramadan 1445 Hijri falls on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Thus, the first fasting day for Muslims will not be tomorrow.   "1 Ramadan falls on Tuesday, March 12, 2024," said Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas at the Ministry of Religious Affairs building in Central Jakarta on Sunday, March 10, 2023.   The initial determination of Ramadan is based on the results of the isbat session held this evening. Yaqut directly chaired the meeting.
