On January 20th, London Mayor Sadiq Khan plastered his social media with a series of conciliatory if not vague messages. “We’re living in increasingly uncertain times, and I know many Londoners are concerned by what’s taking place around the world," wrote Sadiq. Sadiq shared a photo of himself smiling benevolently beneath a Piccadilly Circus LED screen. A screen which beams the assuring “London is and will always be a place for everyone”.
