Diagnostyka, Poland’s largest medical diagnostics provider, set a maximum share price of PLN105 (€24.7) for its initial public offering (IPO), targeting proceeds of up to PLN1.7bn, the company said on January 22. The offering will consist of just over 16.1mn existing shares owned by LX Beta, a subsidiary of MidEuropa III Management Limited, a management fund. The sale represents LX Beta’s entire 47.83% stake in Diagnostyka.

Poland will guarantee Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “free and secure access and participation” in the planned commemoration event marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the former Nazi death camp in Auschwitz despite an International Criminal Court arrest warrant, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on January 9. The event – at which Netanyahu has yet to confirm his attendance – will take place on January 27 and is expected to gather leaders from many countries.
