The settlement system in Fallout 4 allows players to rebuild the world, creating a sense of impact and power fantasy. Skyrim took the world by storm, being a video game where you could go anywhere and do just about anything.

Yuffie undergoes some great character development in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, retaining her rough personality traits while taking on an assassin role in the storyline. The game's writing captures realistic teenage dialogue, exemplified by Yuffie's bratty behavior and moral grayness, making her a unique character. There are a total of nine party members in Final Fantasy VII. Two of them were optional in the original, but Rebirth sees that every member is forced into the story.

Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth falls short of capturing the dark, decaying essence of the original game. The photorealistic Grasslands in Rebirth lack the grim decay portrayed in the original game, undermining the apocalyptic world setting. Over-explanation in Rebirth kills moments of emotional impact from the original game, detracting from the immersive experience. As expected, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a good-looking game.

Pokemon Presents just happened for 2024, bringing with it a full twelve minutes of mostly mobile game announcements. The vast majority of these mobile announcements were for pre-existing games, such as the four-and-a-half-year anniversary of Pokemon Masters EX. I've never been too surprised by the success of Pokemon on mobile. This series started on the GameBoy, jumping from handheld to mobile phones is completely logical.

I love Pokemon, and I've never kept that a secret. The Switch era of Pokemon games has been incredibly interesting to follow, as accusations of Game Freak not putting enough effort into each individual release began to ramp up. Some negativity was frivolous, such as the internet having a collective heart attack because one tree in Sword & Shield wasn't in ultra-high definition, and sometimes the criticism was justified, like comments directed towards the abysmal framerate of Scarlet & Violet.
