Gearbox Software and 2K Games’ upcoming looter shooter game will be out later this year. According to a new trailer on PlayStation’s State of Play February 2025 show, Borderlands 4 will be out for PC and consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series) on 23 September 2025. Along with that, we get some nice fancy gameplay featuring first-person treasure-scoring and Psychos-killing on the planet of Kairos (and probably the moon Elpis).

From about 7am GMT+8 on Saturday, 8 February 2025, the PlayStation Network (PSN) went offline for hitherto unknown reasons. It stayed that way for almost 24 hours (a full day!) before it finally came back online and was restored at around 7AM+ on Sunday, 9 February 2025. This is the second longest PSN downtime in history. The longest recorded downtime for PSN was the infamous incident in April 2011, which lasted a whopping 23 days.

During the Cygames Cup 2025 tournament this weekend (18 to 19 January), Cygames and Arc System Works have showcased new gameplay of its upcoming character in its 2D fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising: the primarch angel being Sandalphon. In the original game, he’s a bishounen with a bunch of angel wings and is considered one of the more powerful beings in the Granblue universe. He’s dubbed the Primarch of Promises due to his power and representing the side of good.

Capcom has announced that they a second Monster Hunter Wilds open beta test will take place from 11am GMT+8 on 7 February 2025 to 10.59am GMT+8 on 10 February 2025, and a third open beta test from 11am GMT+8 on 14 February 2025 to 10.59am GMT+8 on 17 February 2025. The beta test will feature the content included in the first open beta test, as well as Gypceros as a huntable monster. Users will also be able to carry over their character creation data from the first test.

AmiAmi has announced that the NieR Automata Ver1.1a 2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B) 1/4 complete figure is now available to pre-order on their official website. It costs JPY44,000 (approximately RM1300+) and is set to release in June 2025. Sculpted by FREEing with paintwork by Matsuda Model, from the NieR Automata Ver1.1a anime comes a 1/4 scale figure of 2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B). The figure features 2B poised while equipped with Virtuous Treaty.
