    EDMOND, Okla. (KFOR) — A child died at an Edmond dentist office on Tuesday morning while sedated for a dental procedure. According to a report from Edmond Police, a child had been sedated before a procedure at Edmond Pediatric Dentistry and had a “some type of cardiac event” about 35 minutes after the anesthesia was administered. Dental staff began lifesaving measures and called 911 before the child was taken to OU Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

    OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — On Monday, Governor Kevin Stitt vetoed an Oklahoma Senate bill that would’ve extended the timeline for Oklahomans facing eviction. Senate Bill 128, a bipartisan bill authored by Senator Democratic Leader Julia Kirt (D-Oklahoma City) and Representative Daniel Pae (R-Lawton), would have extended the period between the eviction trial notice and court date from 5-10 days to 10-15 days.

    OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The measles case count has risen to 17 in Oklahoma with a new confirmed case in the latest numbers released by the State Department of Health on Tuesday. Of the 14 confirmed and three probable cases, OSDH says 15 of the patients were unvaccinated, one was fully vaccinated, and one had an unknown vaccination status. OSDH has also updated their site to show age data. The age of the patients ranges from 0 to 57 years old, with a median age of 21.
