AbstractHigh-dimensional quantum systems are a valuable resource for quantum information processing. They can be used to encode error-correctable logical qubits, which has been demonstrated using continuous-variable states in microwave cavities or the motional modes of trapped ions. For example, high-dimensional systems can be used to realize ‘Schrödinger cat’ states, which are superpositions of widely displaced coherent states that can be used to illustrate quantum effects at large scales.

1 Introduction Among all malignancies, lung cancer has the highest incidence and mortality rates worldwide.[1] It can be broadly divided into small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and NSCLC comprises >85% of all cases.[2] The most common histological subtype of NSCLC is lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) (40%).[3] However, the five-year overall survival (OS) rate of LUAD patients is less than 20%, despite significant advancements in multimodal treatment options, such...

Humor is an important technique that can be applied in destination marketing to attract potential travelers. This study used a scenario-based experimental design to explore the effects of humor on destination websites. The results demonstrate that both the content of humor and the temporal distance of the visit significantly influence tourists’ attitudes and travel intentions, which are mediated by website trust.
