Induced seismicity, whether from oil and gas, mining, or geothermal energy extraction, has become a major societal concern over the past decades. Obermann et al. [2024] are among the first to report on a unique induced seismicity experiment that was performed in the Bedretto Underground Laboratory in Switzerland.
