In this study, we investigate a fast algorithm for the fractional-order nonlinear multi-agent system with time-varying delay. Firstly, we develop a Lyapunov function to analyze the stability of the system. Then, we apply the L1 formula for the time-fractional derivative and demonstrate the stability and convergence of the constructed scheme through mathematical induction. Next, we use the preconditioned conjugate gradient method to solve the discretised linear numerical scheme.
