1. IntroductionSince the introduction of aircraft, large transport aircraft have been the focus of attention for aircraft design practitioners, due to their larger load capacity and longer flight range than other types of aircraft. In order to achieve a higher lift coefficient and lift-to-drag ratio, large transport aircraft usually adopt a high-aspect-ratio wing with a certain swept-back angle.

3. Parametric Analysis 3.1. Variable Stiffness of Aileron SkinFor the tri-wing aircraft, the flutter characteristics of different parameters were studied by analyzing of various structural parameters. In this subsection, the effect of the aileron stiffness on the flutter characteristics was studied by changing the aileron skin thickness of the tri-wing flight vehicle. The aileron skin thickness was altered by changing the thickness item of PSHELL.

Abstract:In this study, an experimental investigation is performed on a scaled, all-movable horizontal tail to study the aeroelastic behaviors induced by multiple free-plays. The dynamic response in wind tunnel tests is measured by strain gauges, an accelerometer, and a binocular vision measurement system.
