Introduction Glioblastoma (GBM) is a frequent and invasive primary central nervous system (CNS) tumor in adults.1 According to the World Health Organization tumor classification, GBM is one of the highest graded gliomas featuring necrosis or microvascular hyperplasia.2 Multimodality treatments against GBM usually incorporate neurosurgery with subsequent radio- and/or chemo-therapies.
