1 IntroductionOsteoarthritis (OA) is a classic degenerative chronic disease with significant symptoms, including pain, morning stiffness, and joint instability, leading to disability and ultimately impairing quality of life (Martel-Pelletier et al., 2016). The incidence of osteoarthritis is still high worldwide, with approximately 303.1 million hip and knee osteoarthritis cases, according to the Global Burden of Disease Project (GBD).
