In response to energy and environmental crises, solar-driven pure water splitting is a promising way to produce and store renewable energy sources without environmental pollution. Photocatalytic water splitting via two-electron pathway (2H2O→H2+H2O2) is a more kinetically favorable way to produce H2 compared with traditional four-electron pathway.

AbstractMicrocalcification (MC) is a valuable diagnostic indicator of breast cancer, and it is reported to be associated with increased tumor aggressiveness and poor prognosis. Nevertheless, the exact potential molecular mechanism is not completely understood. Here, we find that the mineralized invasive breast cancer (IBC) cells not only increased their proliferation and migration, but also showed the characteristic of doxorubicin resistance.
