This is uniquely true of South Asian voters who voted in huge numbers for Zohran. Many I spoke to talked about how they've never been contacted by pollsters. Polls look at a minuscule cross-section of voters that often fails to capture the full reality of NYC demographics.

Lots of tweets from Indian Twt claiming @ZohranKMamdani’s win. Celebrate yes, but also remember that his win is less of a result of him being Indian (his dad’s family had to leave Gujarat) and more about his support from all communities including Sikh, Bengali and Pakistani.
