The grand Maratha march culminated in the weekend in Navi Mumbai with Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde announcing Other Backward Classes (OBC) reservation for those Marathas who have records of Kunbi caste identity through a “draft notification”. The assurance may have pacified the agitators for now, but it raises more questions than it answers them.
