Quad Naval Exercise gets underway

The US Navy (USN), the Japan Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF), the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) the Indian Navy, are currently participating in a naval exercise MALABAR 2023, which officially commenced on August 11, at Sydney Harbour, Australia. The MALABAR series of maritime exercises was first held in 1992 as a bilateral exercise involving the Indian and US fleets. Over the years, the series has expanded in scale to now include the navies of the other two Quad members.

India, US mutually resolve trade disputes at WTO

In a significant development in the bilateral US-India trade relationship, both countries mutually resolved two major trade disputes that were contested before the World Trade Organization (WTO). According to an official release by the WTO, both sides mutually agreed to withdraw the disputes after they reached a consensus.
