One of the four inventions marking the technological and artisanal summit of ancient China is a south-pointing chariot. It's a mobile chariot with a wood statue of a person raising one arm to point horizontally. His hand is always pointing toward south, one of the earliest compasses. Well, I landed in a place where instead of four directions - north, south, east and west - this world has 15. It is a world where there are 15 words for directions, each one being different from every other.

At first, nothing was on that agora. Gradually piles of dirt accumulated. Then, the first homeless guy slept on the step. That country A is where X lives in, and country A is located in the southwest of Middle Earth Continent. I dreamed that I landed in the northeast of Middle Earth, but from the map on the airplane passenger TV, I saw that the borders of A were huge, so enormous that they encompassed most of the continent. Where I landed was covered by the area of country A. So I am in the same country as X lives. In fact, after I woke, I realized that A is fairly small and fairly remote. A became huge in my dream.

I was playing badminton with my grandpa (a fictional character) at a public gym. At that time, there was only one court left. Every badminton court was actually just half the court and a wall in the center where the net was expected to be. On the wall there was a black board. The way of playing badminton was to hit the shuttlecock to aim particular spots on the blackboard, all marked on a grid, like squash combined with archery.

I was watching a film. It was late at night. In the intermission I went out to buy food. Although normally people are not allowed to go out during intermissions, the security guard at the cinema was too hungry, and he let me out and asked me to bring him some snack when I got back. I think the dream happened in Taipei or some southern seaside city of China. The night was hot and humid, with a vibrant culture of nightlife that resembles my experience in Taipei.
