9月22日傍晚，南加州大学的中国学生组织（Chinese Students and Scholar Association (CSSA))在校园内的McCarthy Quad成功举办了一场别具一格的中秋庙会，吸引了大量的学生参与。此次活动不仅展示了丰富的中国传统文化，更将中秋节这一象征团圆的传统节日与多元文化交织在一起，呈现了一场视听盛宴。 此次庙会设立了投壶、求签、漆扇、猜灯谜等八个项目，其中香囊和漆扇的摊位早早就吸引学生们排起了长队。 求签摊位的队伍一直排到晚上九点，其中公共关系（Public Relation）专业的大三学生Sisley同学说到：“玄学是一个非常吸引人的元素，就像国外的塔罗牌和预言那样，中国的算命和求签文化也吸引了很多非中国学生也在这里排队参与体验。” 南加州大学大一新生Amber对于香囊摊位提出了新颖的看法，她对这种形式是否能形成有效的非物质文化遗产传播表达了质疑，她说：“我觉得其实不能算作为文化的输出，但可以说是文化的影子。不一定能做到真正意义上做到弘扬文化的目的，但是一个能让大家带走留下印象的东西。”...
