Regulating crystal facets of TiO2 by designing unique nanostructures and coupling with metal NPs are attractive to promote their catalytic behaviors, since the atomic coordination and arrangement of specific TiO2 facets can affect the adsorption–desorption properties of substrate by altering the metal-support interactions (MSIs) and the electronic state of the loaded metal NPs [1], [2], [3], [4].

The fossil energy shortage and increasing environmental pollution have become hot issues closely related to the development of human society in recent years [1], and the development of sustainable clean energy to replace fossil resources has become more urgent. Hydrogen, characterized by a wide range of sources, non-pollution, and high calorific value, is considered to be the most desirable alternative to fossil resources in the future [2], [3].

Hydrogels have shown promising applications for flexible wearable devices [1], [2], [3], electronic skins [4], [5], artificial muscles [6], [7], and soft robots [8], [9]. However, they unavoidably dehydrate in dry environments [10], [11], and hydrate in humid environments [12], [13]. These would cause hydrogels to lose their elasticity and toughness, and limiting their long-term applications in both dry and humid environments. Therefore, methods have been proposed in order to solve this issue.

Wearable epidermal sensors and bioelectrodes that are able to effectively acquire various physiological signals about body are essential in the fields of personalized healthcare, clinical disease diagnosis and human–machine interaction [1], [2], [3], [4]. In order to achieve high-quality physiological signal recording, there are some necessary requirements for them such as high conductivity, stretchability, skin-like mechanical toughness and reliable interfacial adhesion with biological tissues.
