The ginger of ‘Shandongdajiang’ was utilized in this study. Germination occurred in an incubator under controlled environmental conditions of 25 °C temperature, 65% relative humidity, and a 24 h photoperiod of darkness. Once the buds reached 1.5 cm in length, healthy ginger seedlings were selected and planted in a glass greenhouse.
