3. Results and Discussion 3.1. Ultimate AnalysisTable 3 displays the results obtained from the elemental analysis of the oil sludge. The predominant elements are carbon and oxygen, with average values of 36.41% and 56.80%, respectively, while the nitrogen content was negligible. According to Chen et al. [57], the elemental composition of OS can vary widely, but the variation is narrow for hydrogen, nitrogen, and sulfur.
