TSUSHIMA, Nagasaki Prefecture--A replica of a ship used by the royal court of Korea’s Joseon Dynasty for “Joseon Tongsinsa” diplomatic missions to Japan during the Edo Period (1603-1867) will be unveiled here in August. The ship will arrive in Japan in time for the Tsushima Izuhara Port Festival to be held in the city from Aug. 5 to 6. The vessel is 34 meters long, 9.3 meters wide and 3 meters high. It weighs 149 tons and can carry a maximum of 69 people.
