1 IntroductionEnergy is the most pressing issue of the 21st century. The unregulated extraction and widespread utilization of traditional fossil fuels, such as coal, petroleum, and natural gas, have resulted in severe environmental pollution. With the increasing demand for electricity and energy, it is imperative to explore new and environmentally-friendly energy storage systems (Wang T. et al., 2018; Niu et al., 2023).

Abstract:Cross-interference is not only an important factor that affects the measuring accuracy of three-dimensional force sensors, but also a technical difficulty in three-dimensional force sensor design. In this paper, a cross-interference suppression method is proposed, based on the octagonal ring’s structural symmetry as well as Wheatstone bridge’s balance principle. Then, three-dimensional force sensors are developed and tested to verify the feasibility of the proposed method.
