UV Alignment of SD1 Photoalignment Layer SD1 photoalignment layers were aligned by irradiating the samples in air with 5 mW cm−2 linearly polarized light (λ = 365 nm that is close to the absorption peak of SD1) from a Thorlabs CS2010 UV-curing LED system equipped with a WP25M-UB broadband wire-grid polarizer.
