3. Results and Discussion 3.1. Subsection Se-Rich Growth and Metabolism of M. purpureusAs shown in Figure 1, M. purpureus pigment production and cell weight increased with culture time. Yellow pigment production and cell weight gradually stabilized after seven days, and red pigment production gradually stabilized after eight days.
