The Miles City Posse 19U co-ed club soccer team won the Montana Cup championship for the second year in a row. The Montana Cup, which serves as the annual end-of-season tournament for Miles City Posse, is the largest event hosted by the Montana Youth Soccer Association. Defense didn't necessarily win championships for the Mavericks in their four-game Saturday/Sunday home stand against the Laurel Dodgers and Billings Cardinals at Denton Field, but it certainly won them all four of their games against those two teams on this weekend. With 6-5 and 13-6 wins over Laurel, and 4-3 and 3-0 against the Billings Cardinals, the Mavericks moved into first place in the Eastern A Legion standings with a 7-1 conference record.

For the first time in two weeks, the Outlaws got back on the field to play baseball. On Sunday, they played the 406 Flyers at home, winning 10-9 and 19-13. The 10-9 victory came in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the eighth inning, as Raymond Shawver blasted a solo home run to right field for the win.
