Semi-truck crash causes morning traffic delay on US-26 near Swan Valley SWAN VALLEY, Idaho (KIFI) - A semi-truck accident closes down the US-26 westbound lane near Rainey Creek, west of Swan Valley, Monday morning. According to Idaho State Police, the semi veered off the highway around 4:30 am and hit a tree and the side of a mountain, causing dozens of bottled waters containers to spill across the road. The driver was taken to a local hospital via Idaho Falls Ambulance.

1 dead from motorcycle crash in Bingham County This is a press release from Idaho State Police. BINGHAM COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a 2-vehicle fatal crash that occurred at approximately 8:10 p.m. on April 7, 2025, on SH 26 at 100 N in Bingham County. A 58-year-old-male from Blackfoot was traveling westbound on 100 N in a maroon 1997 GMC Jimmy. A 29-year-old male from Chubbuck with a juvenile passenger was westbound on SH 26 on a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle FZS10.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office investigating school threat made by Sandcreek Middle School student AMMON (KIFI) - Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a social media threat made by a student at Sandcreek Middle School in Ammon Monday evening. The student claimed they would bring a gun to school. Deputies were able to identify the student and meet with them and their parents late Monday night. That student will not be attending school today.
