But then late last night they announced that surprise! it’ll actually be Emerson Hancock pitching today.

Unsatisfied with that “by a catcher” qualifier, Cal decided to open today’s game by making it back-to-back-to-back, pulling a ball over the right-field fence to keep climbing the Mariners leaderboard and give Seattle a 2-0 lead in the first inning.
