The Denver Nuggets have two games remaining in the regular season and could still land anywhere from the three seed to the eight seed. Fresh off a win for the first time under interim head coach David Adelman, Denver tries to make it two in a row against one of the teams they currently are battling for seeding: the Memphis Grizzlies. Like the Nuggets, the Grizzlies made a late season coaching change. They fired head coach Taylor Jenkins about two weeks ago.

Michael Malone spent a decade on the Denver Nuggets bench. 798 games in total, more than any other coach in franchise history. He also is the first (and currently only) coach to ever win an NBA championship for the franchise as well. No matter what happens from now to eternity, no one can ever take that last part from him. He deserved better than what he got yesterday, but I’m not going to dwell on that right now.

The Denver Nuggets losing streak continues. Nikola Jokic had another huge game and got some help from Christian Braun but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Indiana Pacers. The Nuggets had too many turnovers late and ultimately it cost them the game. Myles Turned led Indiana with twenty-four points and they earn a 125-120 win. The Nuggets couldn’t hit any shots to start the game but Indiana was equally inept.

The Denver Nuggets have lost three games in a row, something that hasn’t happened since the end of January. They have not had a four game losing streak this season. Putting that to the test tonight will be the Indiana Pacers who are on the opposite side of the spectrum with their current three game winning streak (though largely against bad teams). The two teams have nearly identical records and both are currently seeded fourth in their respective conferences. Should be a good one tonight.

The Denver Nuggets losing streak continued on Friday night. After a hot start, the Nuggets offense cooled off while the Golden State Warriors and Steph Curry stayed hot. Too much settling for jumpers in the second half and too little defense ended up dooming Denver while the Warriors used a big third quarter run to put the game away. Nikola Jokic had thirty-three points but Curry out did him with thirty-six while Brandin Podziemski scored twenty-six and put Denver away 118-104.

I used to hate on the Nuggets for giving out towels instead of shirts but then they gave out shirts and everyone in the arena was too cool to put them on. Nuggets fans deserve lame towels
