RAYVILLE, La. (KTVE/KARD)— The Rayville Hornets were under new leadership last season with first year head coach Adrian Hester. Finishing just one game under .500, the Hornets made it to the Regional Round in the playoffs before falling to Red River. This was a team that was still trying to put the pieces together with a new head coach. But this year is a bit different and now, the Rayville Hornets look to put themselves back on top of the food chain.

MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD)— (Courtesy of ULM Athletics) The ULM women’s tennis program is being discontinued, effective immediately, Director of Athletics John Hartwell announced on Tuesday (June 17). The decision was based on increased operational and infrastructure costs. It will enable ULM Athletics to continue progress towards balancing its budget while sponsoring 16 NCAA Division I FBS sports, the required NCAA minimum.
