Agreed. I'm sympathetic to immigrants, but imagine the difference if American flags, Statues of Liberty, and other Americana were the dominant* symbols in protests about yearning for American citizenship. *yes, I know there are some USA flags, but they are relatively sparse

I think Elon Musk sincerely views the unprecedented debt as a systemic risk and is furious to discover Trump and the GOP were just playing games when they indicated they might do something about it. The reality is sinking in: You need a Milei-style libertarian to get it done.
