Abstract Idiopathic arrhythmias originating from the mitral and tricuspid annuli are commonly encountered in clinical practice. This review focuses on distinguishing features of ventricular arrhythmias arising from these structures and the importance of distinguishing idiopathic arrhythmias from those associated with structural heart disease.
