A cloudy, breezy, and chilly afternoon with a warming trend starting tomorrow

It’s a much colder feel this Wednesday afternoon with wind chills in the 30s. That said, the weather turns much nicer on Thursday and Good Friday. A few spotty showers are possible with a warm front Friday evening before temperatures head to early summer Saturday with highs in the mid-upper 70s! Some spotty showers/thunder are possible Saturday night. A mix of sunshine and clouds with seasonable 60s for Easter Sunday!Tonight: Clearing, breezy & chilly with lows 29-39.

Any early showers are ending on this damp and cool Sunday AM It will be generally cloudy but mainly dry Sunday with highs only in the 40s. Periods of Rain and even some thunder Sunday night. Turning mild again with 60s possible for Monday. There could be some late day and evening showers and thunderstorms crossing the state Monday as the cold front pushes through the region.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!Some nice, festive flakes fell across the state yesterday AM! We picked up a coating to about an inch in most places. Not enough for a white Christmas for most unfoetunaly though as there needs to be one inch of snow on the ground by this AM. Christmas will be merry and bright–lots of sun with highs in the mid 30s.

Happy winter!! It officially kicked off yesterday at 4:21 AM. Our normal high for the Bridgeport area is 42 and 38 for the Hartford area for December 21st. We will not be out of the 20s for the next couple of days!COLDER air pushed in overnight and with the wind, temperatures feel like they are in the single digits/below zero.

After yesterday’s cloudy, damp day with the gusty evening downpours, we are in for some much better weather today!Today will for sure be the pick of the weekend as it will be bright, breezy but also brisk! Highs only in the 60s to near 70° with a breezy wind at times. Overall very nice for all the local fairs, festivals and football games but a light jacket or sweatshirt may be needed. Next week will be stunning with highs in the 70s Monday/Tuesday with a warming trend.
Mainly cloudy with some PM rain to track. Bright and brisk for Sunday!

Happy Weekend! Kind of a split weekend although no washouts are expected. To kick this off, expect another mostly cloudy day. Though there is some rain in the forecast, many should remain mainly dry through 3-4 pm with the main timing of the rain between 4-9 pm. This will likely affect some fairs and football games so make sure the umbrella is nearby! There may be a thunderstorm mixed in as well plus some gusty winds.

Though on the cloudy side, yesterday was dry and still manageble for outdoor events! Today looks to be the most unsettled day of the holiday weekend but it is NOT a washout either. Expect clouds and some hazy sunshine along with humid conditions with a high near 80 degrees. A scattered shower or thunderstorm is possible through-out the day and into the evening hours. Timing is a bit uncertain, but a morning-midday shower with a chance for an isolated PM storms seems to be the best bet.
