Following a regular season which saw them finish with a record of 24-7 (14-6 Big Ten Conference), Maryland reached the Big Ten Tournament’s Semifinal Round for the first time since 2016 but failed to advance further after suffering a heartbreaking loss to Michigan. Three straight losses, particularly their last two to Illinois and Northwestern, have derailed what began as a very promising season. With four games left on the schedule, they may very well be able to match their seven-win regular season total from last year.
