    Following some technical troubles last weekend, The Coalition has announced an extension of Gears of War: Reloaded beta this weekend on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The first beta test had soured the experience for many, and the studio says it has “heard” players’ complaints. Gears of War: Reloaded’s second beta will kick off tomorrow, June 20, 12 p.m. PT and will run until Sunday, June 22, 9 p.m. PT. New maps and modes will be introduced including Execution and King of the Hill.

    An underrated 2019 PS4 open-world shooter is under $10 in a limited-time PS Store deal. Developed by id Software and Avalanche Studios, Rage 2 is 80% off as part of the new Mid-Year Deals Promotion. Players can pick up Rage 2, which is playable on the PS5 via backwards compatibility, for just $7.99 until the sale ends on July 3. Only the base game is discounted, unfortunately, and we can’t quite recommend the Deluxe Edition at a price point of $59.99.

    In case you missed it, June 2025’s PS Plus day-one game is scheduled to receive free playable DLC starting Fall 2025. Remedy Entertainment’s FBC: Firebreak will kick off its post-launch roadmap with two new Jobs in 2025, with plans for more content in 2026. The two new Jobs that’ll launch this year are Outbreak and Blackout, which will be available in Fall and Winter, respectively. Outbreak will come with new gameplay systems and enemies whereas Blackout will come with new equipment and enemies.
