“Sinner like me… that’s all I can ask for.”Sinners has an intriguing concept. I should probably preface that, while I did enjoy the film, I’ve many critiques too. The writing itself is, unfortunately, at best, subpar in comparison with other films of the genre. Although the film itself is wanting to be a blues film, it feels like a blues homage film wrapped within a vampire film. The film looks too orange, and the night lighting for the night scenes are somehow even more orange or slightly too dark.
