I would actually disagree strongly with your characterization. A good question is not a performance. A good question puts an onus on the subject to speak his own words, not agree w/ the premise. "What happened?" & "Why?" are not lazy questions. They're fair Q's w/o ego or agenda.

The type of golf that the U.S. Open showcases might not be fun to watch each and every week, but one time per year it's an absolute blast. It's fun when a tournament has a real identity, and this week, I think Oakmont played perfectly in line with the USO identity.

And to think the keyboard warriors thought Oakmont was too easy after watching three hours of golf on Thursday. Place has these guys in hell!
