Introduction Loeffler endocarditis (LE) is the cardiac manifestation of hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES), which is a rare systemic disease characterized by the sustained production of eosinophils. Cardiac involvement is observed in about 50% of HES cases and is associated with high morbidity and mortality rates.
