    In this section, we will discuss the drawback of the traditional SMC, firstly. To mitigate the chattering problem, three parts are introduced: full-order SMC, the switching gain adaptive law, and the disturbance observer. In addition, the stability of the speed loop is guaranteed by the Lyapunov stability theory. Traditonal SMCThe design of sliding mode controller is divided into two parts: one is the selection of sliding mode surface; the second is the design of sliding mode controller.
