حمدالله فطرت، معاون سخنگوی طالبان، به بی‌بی‌سی گفت که بمباران حکومت نظامی پاکستان شب گذشته چهار منطقه در ولسوالی برمل ولایت پکتیکا را هدف قرار داد. در این حملات چندین خانه تخریب شده و حداقل ۴۶ نفر کشته و ۶ نفر دیگر زخمی شده‌اند. وی افزود که بیشتر قربانیان زنان و کودکان هستند.
