GWASs, Meta-analysis, and C-GWASSingle-trait GWASs of 136 ear phenotypes were conducted in each of the five cohorts separately (as shown in S1B Fig) and the results were then meta-analyzed, resulting in 136 sets of single-trait summary statistics. The inflation factors in these single-trait GWASs were all within an acceptable range (average λ = 1.04, with 1.02 < λ < 1.06).

Cow’s milk allergy (CMA) is an abnormal immune response that severely affects the nutritional supplementation of allergic infants. Currently, only a limited number of hypoallergenic formulas are available on the market, and these are only categorized according to their degree of hydrolysis, which still poses an allergy risk and cannot be consumed by CMA patients, especially infants.
